Letter of thanks from the Edinburgh Food Project

Dear Edinburgh International Church of Christ,

I am writing on behalf of all at the Edinburgh North West and Central Foodbank to thank you for your efforts in helping us to ensure that no one in crisis in our area goes without sufficient food.

You donated food weighed in at a massive 71.3 kgs.  This is a fantastic contribution to our work and we are most grateful.  This amount of food enabled us to provide immediate help to three families of 4 plus one individual providing them with three nutritionally balanced meals to last for at least three days – a total of 117 meal equivalents.  We know that your generous contribution is greatly appreciated by those who receive the food boxes.

Because of the support of people such we have been able to provide 64,000 meals to 8,000 people over the last two years.  Sadly the number of people finding themselves in this position through no fault of their own is on the increase.

I have also attached a certificate showing your total contributed during the last year. We are extremely grateful that you choose to regularly support our work.  Please accept our sincere thanks and best wishes for you all for 2015.

Yours sincerely

Ewan Walker
